Its been a good year: #2014Recap + New Year Giveaway!

Hi guys, It’s been a long week of rest for the holidays and I would like to grab this opportunity to bond with you once again. So how was everyone’s Christmas huh? What gifts did you received and gave to your loved ones? Well, if you gonna ask me this questions I will feel really embarrassed. Why? Because I haven’t bought so much gifts for this year Christmas season. Compared to my previous years wherein on the first week of December I always find myself busy buying stuff at malls and wrapping gifts as early as possible. But this year, I am not prepared and not even aware Christmas is too near as I was busy working overtime due to an ongoing project. Seriously, I just woke up realizing I got no work because it’s a holiday. Just like having an adrenalin rush or a being a magician I provide instant gifts for my family. I gave Sodexo Gift Certificates for my sister, a slipper for my nephew that we just bough while having groceries and a cardigan from Romwe to my Mom which I actually got for myself but it is too big for me. Nyay! Unlike before I even gave gifts to my workmates and friends. Ohh, how sweet of me darling. So what happened why it turned out like this? Simple. I’d never been to malls, go shopping and find stuff for others (which is really a hard thing to do).

Photo from Google

On the other hand, I haven’t received so much gifts as well. I received less compared last year wherein I got tons of boxes and paper bags under the Christmas tree. Maybe because I am always out of the office and people there are having a hard time catching up with me. Let us just be positive okay?! As what they say, it is better to give than to receive. LOL!

This year, 2014 is a great and productive year for me. I’ve done and accomplished so much more than I expected. I remember I wish for an Iphone5s and I got mine for free last June or July, this happens at the time I really wanted to get a plan/line so I can have a new baby. But my luck is so good to me that I haven’t spend any single cent and bingo! Got a new phone that I wanted.

When it comes to work, salary is fine though workloads makes me stress at times but as I always keep in mind, “Love what you do, do what you love.” So instead of complaining all the stress we’ve been into, just embrace things as a challenge. Life is really tough but if you look it on the other way around, life is wonderful.

As I mentioned above, “Do what you love” and this is it what I am doing right now. Aside from being a full time IT,
I love seeing myself engaged into writing or blogging. Sometimes I had this thought that what if I’d pursue journalism right after my secondary. What would I become now? Though, I never regret choosing the path of the IT industry as I am also happy with what I am now. Writing for me may not be my profession but I consider it as my ultimate passion. So this year I decided to formally put this passion into blogging. And this is it! www.eurethel.com was created.

Lastly, for this year I find myself become more interested in “Savings and Investing”. I remember, before 2014 comes I made a jar labelled with months and amounts of money I need to save every week (I will make a new blog post regarding this). But then being inspired to that, I engaged myself in investments instead of keeping my money alone. I did research and study what I can do to multiply my money and applied what I learned into real life. Invest. Invest. Invest. Being rich really takes time and effort for those who we’re not born with golds on their neck.

So here comes the most exciting part. Before the year ends, I would like to give a lucky reader a treat. As I received so much blessing for the year 2014, I wanna share with you these products I’ve got from Ms. Tin Roman‘s blog, site manager of Derma Obsession website. I had these products since 1st week of this month and having so much skin cares yet, I would be glad to share this with you. To know more about the products, visit the website http://dermaobsession.com/

My greatest achievement I made in the year 2014 for me is to be a “promonatic” a word coined for people who loves joining online contests/promos/raffles/ blog giveaways/free samples…
By that, it gave a lot of benefits in my life πŸ˜€ It’s a definite life changer for me to be able to discover and see for myself that winning online is indeed 100% legit plus it gave major changes in my life… especially winning a brand new cell phone online and claiming some prizes by which, I was treated with warm congratulatory welcome πŸ™‚
Most importantly, I gain and had Facebook friends who are also promonatics as well… each and every one of us tagging and helping each other win and discover online promos/contests/giveaways/free samples πŸ˜€

I am not sure what my greatest achievement of 2014. Probably just making it without having any of our utilities shut off or anything on the super low income we had most of the year. Doesn’t sound like much, but it really would be the opposite of achievement had I not, so it counts right? Gosh, I feel like I need to something a LOT bigger in 2015. Motivated.
